Our actions

Our action is local, national, and international.

We try to respond to any need encountered by refugees according to our possibilities.

Food parcels, hotel nights, clothing assistance, solidarity accommodation, French classes, moral support, administrative assistance, etc. are examples, among others, of the help we provide.

-EDITO -

Never since the Second World War have so many women and children been on the road to exile under conditions as terrible as they are today. Whether to reach or cross borders, on smugglers' boats, on their arrival on the Greek shores, in refugee camps, on the roads or in the streets of European towns, never so much indifference and hatred have prevented their journey from being safe. They do not have a home anymore. The way they are welcomed is despicable, not to mention the moral and physical abuse inflicted by heartless people, blinded by hatred or by greed.

While governments are busy closing borders, ordinary people all over Europe have formed numerous support groups to provide help of every kind, to show respect and give dignity to these people in exile from many countries and who seek asylum far from home.

ACT FOR REF IS PART OF THIS GLOBAL NETWORK OF SOLIDARITY

ACT FOR REF is doing its utmost to bring some help to people in the throes of exile.

The association receives DONATIONS which are then REDISTRIBUTED directly to families in need who are connected with the association, to asylum seekers' centres in our area and sometimes to convoys going to various destinations (Ukraine, Greece, Syria, Serbia ...). It also brings MORAL, MATERIAL, ADMINISTRATIVE and LOGISTICAL SUPPORT locally to dozens of asylum seekers and refugees. At the same time, Act For Ref uses social media to federate, inform and mobilize people.
